P3 USA in Greenville, SC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support complex automotive manufacturing projects from pre-series through launch. You will apply Body Shop Methods, perform dimensional analysis, and help optimize fixtures and production equipment on the shop floor.

Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and product engineering teams; review CAD drawings and measurement data; translate results into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical/automotive/manufacturing engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in Body Shop Methods, dimensional engineering, and metrology.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% and work on the shop floor with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Plan Body Shop Methods activities across pre-series and production launch.
• Perform dimensional quality and gap studies to evaluate geometry, fit, and alignment.
• Support fixture commissioning and production equipment optimization.
• Review CAD drawings, specifications, and measurement data for deviations and risks.
• Translate measurement results into practical recommendations for manufacturing and quality teams.
• Coordinate corrective actions and monitor effectiveness through follow-up measurements.
