Job summary

Anderson Auto Group of Grand Island is seeking an Automotive Body Shop/Collision Manager to lead our collision repair operations. You will oversee daily shop activities, coordinate repairs from assessment to completion, and ensure quality and safety standards.

Experienced managers with a strong understanding of auto body repair processes will drive efficiency, mentor technicians, and deliver outstanding service to customers in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a dealership or collision shop.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems.
• Hands-on auto body refinishing, painting and detailing.
• Familiar with aluminum repairs, metal fabrication, paints.
• Proficient with auto body estimating software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE use.
• Excellent client communication to set expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the collision repair shop, including workflow, staffing, and quality control.
• Coordinate vehicle repairs from damage assessment through completion, ensuring timely delivery.
• Supervise technicians and support staff, providing guidance on repair techniques and safety.
• Use estimating software for accurate assessments and quotes.
• Ensure safe PPE use and compliance with safety regulations.
• Oversee tools and equipment used in repair and fabrication.
• Conduct defect root cause analysis to improve quality and efficiency.
