Job summary

Anderson Auto Group is seeking a dynamic Automotive Body Shop/Collision Manager in Grand Island to lead our collision repair operations. You will oversee daily shop activities, coordinate repairs from assessment through completion, and drive quality and safety standards while mentoring technicians and staff.

This role requires hands-on experience with auto body refinishing, painting, and detailing, plus strong customer communication to manage expectations and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership or collision shop management experience.
• Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures.
• Hands-on experience with refinishing, painting, restoration, and detailing.
• Familiarity with aluminum repairs, fabrication, paints, and repair materials.
• Proficiency with power/hand tools and estimating software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE usage.
• Strong client communication to explain repairs and manage expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all collision repair shop operations, workflow, staffing, and quality control.
• Coordinate repairs from damage assessment to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
• Supervise technicians and staff with guidance on repair techniques and safety.
• Use estimating software for accurate assessments and quotes.
• Ensure PPE use and safety compliance in the shop.
• Oversee tool usage, painting equipment, glass installation tools, and fabrication tools.
• Conduct root cause analysis to improve repair quality and efficiency.
