Job summary

CarolinasCollision Centerof Greensboro in Greensboro, NC is seeking a seasoned Automotive Body Shop Estimator to join our collision repair team. The ideal candidate has at least five years of hands-on estimating experience and a keen eye for detail.

You will assess vehicle damage, prepare accurate estimates, and coordinate with customers, technicians, and insurance providers to ensure a smooth repair process.

Automotive Body Shop Estimator Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles, assessing the extent of damage and necessary repairs
• Explain repair processes and estimate details to customers in a clear and comprehensible manner
• Collaborate with adjusters to discuss estimates and negotiate repair costs
• Work closely with the repair team to convey repair requirements and ensure clarity on the scope of work
• Maintain organized and accurate records of estimates, communication with customers, and insurance-related documentation
• Other duties assigned

Automotive Body Shop Estimator Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Body Shop Estimator in the automotive repair industry preferred
• Familiarity with estimating software
• Comprehensive understanding of automotive repair processes, parts, and materials
• Proficiency in using estimating software and standard office applications
• Ability to explain technical details to customers in a clear and understandable manner
• Must pass pre-employment background screenings
