Job summary

Faulkner Automotive Group in South Philadelphia is seeking a Paint Refinishing Technician to repaint and refinish damaged vehicle parts and bodies to factory and dealership standards, while adhering to safety guidelines and hazardous-material rules. Training is provided for all new teammates.

Preferred candidates have 2 years or an apprenticeship in automotive painting, along with a high school diploma or technical training, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and teamwork and

• High School Diploma, Vocational/Technical School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience, apprenticeship or on-the-job training in automotive painting.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Repaint and refinish damaged vehicle body parts and vehicle bodies to specified standards.
• Follow safety procedures when handling paints, thinners and hazardous materials.
• Maintain quality in line with factory and dealership specs and time standards.

As a Paint Refinishing Technician, you will repaint and refinish damaged vehicle body parts and vehicle bodies in accordance with factory and dealership quality specifications and time standards. The Paint Refinishing Technician must comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners and other hazardous materials and wear all required safety equipment. Experience with water based paint and related technology is a plus!

Paint Refinishing Technician Requirements

• High School Diploma, Vocational/Technical School graduate or equivalent.
