Job summary

The Faulkner Automotive Group is seeking a Paint Refinishing Technician to repaint and refinish damaged vehicle parts at Collision Lancaster. No prior automotive experience required; Faulkner provides training and growth opportunities within a large, family-owned dealership network.

You will work to factory and dealership quality specifications, follow safety rules for paints and solvents, and collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality finishes on time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Vocational/Technical School or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience or apprenticeship in automotive painting.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Repaint and refinish damaged vehicle body parts and bodies following factory and dealership specifications.
• Wear required safety equipment and comply with laws regarding paints and hazardous materials.
• Maintain quality standards and meet time benchmarks.

As a Paint Refinishing Technician, you will repaint and refinish damaged vehicle body parts and vehicle bodies in accordance with factory and dealership quality specifications and time standards. The Paint Refinishing Technician must comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners and other hazardous materials and wear all required safety equipment. Experience with water based paint and related technology is a plus!

Paint Refinishing Technician Requirements

• High School Diploma, Vocational/Technical School graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience, apprenticeship or on-the-job training in automotive painting
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment
