Job summary

Sonic Automotive, Audi Central Houston, located in Houston, TX, seeks a Billing Clerk to accurately record the sale, profit and commissions payable on all sold units and to maintain precise accounting of vehicle inventories.

You will bill deals, receive monies, organize paperwork, process payoffs and dealer trades, and support management with accounting tasks while adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous Billing Clerk automotive experience
• Strong typing and 10-key skills with good accuracy
• Basic accounting skills and math aptitude
• Good interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Authorized to work in the USA and able to pass pre-employment checks

Responsibilities

• Bill all new and used car deals and post into accounting.
• Receipt all monies received for deals and dealer trades.
• Organize all paperwork in each deal; check for completeness.
• Process payoff checks for trades and mail to financial institutions.
• Process dealer trades in and out.
• Generate and maintain the sales person’s commission reports and commissions on-hold.
• Route paid deals to the tag and title clerk for processing.
• Provide administrative support to management and other departments.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Follow all safety policies and report accidents.
