Job summary

Voss Auto Network is seeking a dependable Billing Clerk to join our Network Office team. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers to ensure accuracy and timely paperwork completion.

The primary role is to record new and used vehicle sales deals in the accounting system (Reynolds and Reynolds), ensuring inventory relief, profit, and commissions are recorded properly.

Qualifications

• Previous billing, accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working with numbers and financial information.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Must pass a Background Check and Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

• Organize all deal paperwork, checking for completeness while preparing funding packages for financial institutions and title paperwork for title clerks.
• Process payoff checks for customer trade-ins.
• Bill new and used vehicle deals in the accounting system, communicating with managers if there is a profit discrepancy or incomplete paperwork.
• Apply for factory incentives on a franchise-specific basis
• Review accounting schedules related to the billing process; follow up on any aged items that require research
• Provide additional administrative support as needed
• Any other duties as assigned by the accounting manager as determined by skill, desire to grow and learn new things, and time availability.
