Job summary

Schulte Subaru in Sioux Falls, SD, seeks an Automotive Billing & Accounting Specialist to work with our sales team, accounting staff and controller to ensure every car deal is completed timely and accurately. This position handles the entire Accounts Receivable process and maintains positive relationships across the dealership.

The role supports posting repair orders, daily service deposits, and related reconciliations, with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule.

Job Summary

As an Automotive Billing & Accounting Specialist, you will play an essential role as someone who works closely with our sales representatives, accounting team and controller to ensure every step of each car deal is completed timely and accurately. This person is also responsible for the entire Accounts Receivable process. The Automotive Billing & Accounting Specialist must develop and maintain a positive relationship with all employees and management.

a Typical Day - Job Functions And Responsibilities

• Process used car deals in a timely manner making sure all money is received, all product is built in (and has funds set aside), and the front and back end of each car deal is reconciled. It also includes updating the gross log, cash/contracts schedule review, reconciling the we-owe schedule, inventory schedule and writing payoff checks.
• Manage all accounts receivable responsibilities including printing and sending statements, reconciling A/R accounts, A/R deposit, answering inquiries, following up on aged AR, and updating necessary spreadsheets.
• Posting internal repair orders.
• Conduct the daily service deposit and manage the schedule.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position. Employees are expected to be present and able to perform the essential functions of the job during scheduled work hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ensure work area remains tidy and organized.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
