We're looking for full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Cream Ridge, NJ area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
About the Position of Assistant Manager
As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively. Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures, and standards, scheduling mechanics/technicians' work, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and the safety of team members.
About the Position of Service Manager
The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under-car repair services. To ensure complete customer satisfaction, Service Managers must direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, and communicate directly with customers to assess needs and provide information regarding necessary automotive repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications
To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant / Service Manager, you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
