Job Description

Automotive Assistant Manager

Pay: $18 to $20 per hour, based on experience.

As an Assistant Automotive Store Manager, you will oversee daily store operations, including safe and efficient service bay operations. You will participate in a comprehensive management training program from day one, preparing you for future roles. Your role involves building lasting guest relationships and delivering a 5-star guest experience while ensuring the safety and reliability of transportation.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Store Manager on operations, hiring, training, coaching, disciplining, and terminating employees.
  2. Support technicians by training and developing teammates on shop operations and guest services.
  3. Assist with scheduling, completing timecards, and assigning work to technicians.
  4. Perform duties of automotive technician when needed.
  5. Attend meetings and clinics to stay current on tools, parts, and repairs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of automotive and sales experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to work with hands overhead, stand long periods, and lift 50 lbs.
  • Good communication skills and basic math skills.
  • Guest and team-focused mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Automotive State Inspector License.
  • ASE Certifications.
  • Proven sales experience in automotive or quick lube services.
  • Leadership experience.
