Full Time- Hourly Assistant Manager $19.50 hour

Summary: The full-time Assistant Manager is a full-time hourly employee responsible for operating and supervising a theatre and its staff, representing Regal in alignment with our mission and policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Regular and consistent attendance, including early opening and/or late closing shifts as needed.
  • Upholding and enforcing all theatre policies.
  • Training, developing, coaching, and supervising non-management staff.
  • Performing all staff roles as required.
  • Operating projection and audio-visual equipment, maintaining hardware and software, including film handling and system maintenance.
  • Ensuring alcohol certification and training are current if applicable.
  • Monitoring safety and risk management, including emergency procedures and accident reporting.
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Handling cash and other receipts, including deposits and reconciliations.
  • Adhering to dress code policies.
  • Completing or progressing through the management certification program.
  • Understanding and reviewing the ROM.
  • Participating in hiring, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions under management oversight.
  • Controlling costs, managing supplies, and overseeing inventory and audits.
  • Supervising theatre maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Marketing and scheduling film showings and promotions.
  • Reading and understanding training materials on topics like harassment and discrimination.

Additional Duties: As assigned by the GM or senior management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; supervisory or theatre experience preferred.
  • Legal age for alcohol service if applicable, with required certifications.
  • Good public speaking and communication skills.
  • Strong math, reasoning, computer, and office skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to set goals and priorities.
  • Supervisory responsibilities include training, coaching, performance appraisal, and potential hiring and disciplinary actions.

Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, and talking; occasional climbing or balancing; lifting up to 60 lbs.; visual requirements.
