Job summary

K&K Technical Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support advanced equipment planning and manufacturing process improvements at a major automotive facility in Georgetown, Kentucky. The role focuses on developing and implementing innovative manufacturing technologies, improving assembly operations, and supporting new equipment and production readiness initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing engineering, capital equipment planning, and experience with AutoCAD.

Qualifications

2+ years in manufacturing engineering or production engineering.
Experience supporting capital equipment projects and installation.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial engineering principles.
Experience developing or reviewing engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and implement new manufacturing equipment and technologies for automotive assembly.
Assist with capital equipment projects from planning to installation and production support.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, quality and cost.
Review engineering drawings and equipment layouts using AutoCAD.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and suppliers to meet project goals.
Provide hands-on engineering support on the manufacturing floor.
Support domestic and international engineering activities as required.
