The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of engineering experience, CAD/CAM proficiency (AutoCAD/CATIA), and strong collaboration with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure quality, safety, productivity, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years of engineering experience, including internship or co-op.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with 3D CAD drawings and modeling.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and CATIA for 2D and 3D engineering applications.
• Experience with project scheduling, planning, and coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support new vehicle model launches and automotive paint manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with design, production engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Review and analyze 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and CATIA.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate engineering activities between vehicle design and manufacturing operations.
• Support manufacturing trials, production readiness, and process improvement initiatives.
• Develop and update engineering standards, checklists, and project documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing quality, safety, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Participate in cross-functional engineering meetings and project reviews.
• Provide hands-on engineering support within an automotive manufacturing environment.
