Job summary

The instructor will teach in face-to-face, blended, and online formats at multiple locations, including evening hours, and engage in program development and assessment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in automotive service is required.
• 4000 hours of automotive technician work experience is required for Bachelor or Associate degrees.
• ASE A1, A6, A8 certifications required.
• ASE G-1 certification within 90 days of employment.
• ASE Master Certification within 12 months of hire.
• ASE L-1 certification within 12 months of employment.
• Bachelors degree within 5 years of employment.
• GM STS 100% in areas taught.
• Ongoing professional growth expected.
• Flexibility with teaching times (days/evenings).

Responsibilities

• Teach in face-to-face, blended, and online classrooms.
• Teach 30 equated credit hours annually in varied settings.
• Engage in curriculum development and assessment.
• Collaborate with program chair and college leadership.
• Maintain accurate records and advise students on policies.
• Adhere to college policies and safety procedures.
• Support equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
