Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in automotive service.
• Minimum 4000 hours of on-the-job automotive technician work experience.
• ASE A1, A6, A8 certifications required.
• ASE G-1 within 90 days; ASE Master within 12 months; ASE L-1 within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teaching effectiveness to support student learning.
• Work in diverse settings including day, evening, weekend, on and off campus.
• Maintain professional development to stay current in the field.
• Provide curriculum insight and guidance for program improvement.
• Advise students on policies, performance, and progression.
• Collaborate with program chair and college leadership.
