DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented Air Import Coordinator to manage automotive vehicle imports via air freight. You will coordinate with overseas offices, brokers, and internal teams to ensure a compliant and timely import process.

Qualifications

• Experience in air import coordination, preferably in automotive or transportation industries.
• Strong knowledge of import documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to coordinate with overseas offices, brokers, and logistics partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end air import shipments of automotive vehicles, including overseas partners and delivery schedules.
• Prepare import documentation (EPA forms, DOT forms, temporary import statements) for automotive customers.
• Review air waybills, invoices and packing lists to ensure compliance with U.S. customs and company policies.
• Communicate with airlines, freight forwarders, brokers, and other partners to monitor shipments and provide updates.
• Collaborate with sales, customs brokerage, and warehouse teams to meet customer requirements and timelines.
• Manage payments to airlines, car carriers and other logistics partners; handle billing of freight charges.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in air import operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring excellent service.
