Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Automotive ADAS Technician to manage customer interaction, vehicle testing and repair, invoicing, and inventory control. This role emphasizes accurate testing, ADAS calibrations, and collaboration with the shop team in Lenexa, KS.

You will handle diagnostic testing, wiring repairs, and efficient invoice processing while maintaining equipment and software tools and contributing to continuous learning and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of relevant automotive/electronic technician experience required.
• Knowledge of OE scan tools and ability to learn new tools as needed.
• Knowledge of wiring repair procedures.
• Ability to service A/C systems.
• Strong diagnostic skills in the automotive trade.
• Proficient with basic computer tools (email, spreadsheets, messaging).

Responsibilities

• Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviews all estimates for repair.
• Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis.
• Performs wiring repairs.
• Advises shop of needed repairs.
• Keeps inventory of stock, communicating with support staff for needed orders and verifying order receipts.
• Writes, prints and emails service invoices.
• Collects signature or payment for work performed.
• Delivers completed invoices and payments to office in orderly manner.
• Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshoots breakdowns; maintains supplies; performs preventative maintenance; advises management of repairs; keeps Google Drive up to date.
• Collaborates with teammates according to PPT guidelines to schedule/complete jobs.
• Other duties, as assigned
