Ken Garff Automotive Group in American Fork is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. This role handles invoice review, payment processing, and vendor inquiries with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years AP/AR experience required (automotive experience a plus).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and calculator use.
• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices for proper documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Prepare invoice deduction notices as needed.
• Audit freight bills against manifests and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Analyze vendor accounts and negotiate extended terms when cash is tight.
• Prepare AP checks and print accounts payable reports; maintain files.
• Assist in monthly closings and with AR or special projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
