Job summary

LHH US is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a centralized accounting team supporting multiple automotive retail locations. This temporary-to-hire role focuses on reviewing, processing, and posting vehicle sales transactions with accuracy and compliance to company policies.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proficient with Excel, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Compensation is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, with benefits available.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or automotive accounting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Review vehicle sales transactions for completeness and accuracy.
• Process and post deals into the dealership management system (DMS) promptly.
• Verify contracts, financing paperwork, and related sales documents.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in deal structures, funding, and inventory.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
