Brigham-Gill Village CDJR is seeking an experienced Automotive Accounting Clerk (AP/AR) to join their team in Massachusetts. This full-time role focuses on coding and posting vendor invoices, processing payments, and managing customer accounts to ensure timely, accurate financial records.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of dealership accounting experience, proficiency with automotive DMS platforms (CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack, Tekion), and solid knowledge of GL/AP/AR practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting / bookkeeping experience in a new car dealership.
• Proficiency with automotive DMS platforms (CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack, Tekion) and MS Office / Google Workspace.
• Basic accounting principles (GL, AP/AR, debits/credits) and dealership operations.
• High detail orientation, accurate data entry, organization, and strong communication.
• High school diploma required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Code and post vendor invoices, issue checks, post receipts, and manage customer accounts.
• Cash & Sales Reconciliation: Balance cash drawers, process credit card settlements, reconcile bank deposits, and post sales schedules.
• Schedule Reconciliation: Maintain and clear assigned accounting schedules (trade-in payoffs, factory receivables, inventory).
• General Ledger & Month-End: Assist with monthly journal entries, schedule postings, and month-end financial closing preparation.
• Administrative Support: Maintain accurate financial records, address vendor inquiries, and support the Controller with administrative projects.
