JAE Electronics, Inc. in Detroit, MI is seeking an Automotive Account Manager to provide sales support to automotive customers and prospects, grow the customer base, and participate in design-in programs for JAE products.

You will collaborate with engineering, marketing and manufacturing to develop suitable solutions and manage key accounts with OEMs and Tier1 suppliers, requiring occasional travel and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of interconnect products and applications.
• Ability to initiate and maintain customer/supplier relationships.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop price models and improve profitability for assigned accounts.
• Provide forecasts for assigned accounts.
• Collect and distribute customer requirements.
• Develop new automotive business opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering to meet customer requirements and develop suitable solutions.
• Advise customers on connector applications.
• Interface between customer and Product Design, Marketing and Manufacturing groups.
• Participate in account/program management for design-in and development of JAE products at key customers.
• Attend industry trade association meetings as deemed necessary by management.
