JAE ELECTRONICS, INC. is seeking an Automotive Account Manager to drive sales support and growth in the automotive sector. You will coordinate with OEM applications and product design, analyze customer needs, and craft interconnect solutions to meet program goals.

The role emphasizes design‑in collaborations, forecast accuracy, and active participation in industry events, with domestic travel up to 25% and cross‑functional teamwork across engineering, marketing and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5–7 years combined experience in Automotive Sales, Program Management or Applications.
• Experience with Tier 1 suppliers (Sumitomo, Yazaki, Magna, Gentex) is helpful.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to read drawings and understand connector design concepts.

Responsabilités

• Develop price models to improve profitability and manage accounts.
• Provide forecasts for assigned accounts.
• Collect and distribute customer requirements.
• Develop new automotive business opportunities.
• Work with engineering to understand customer application requirements and develop suitable solutions.
• Provide recommendations to customers regarding their connector application requirements.
• Interface between the customer and JAE’s Product Design, Marketing and Manufacturing Groups.
• Participate in account/program management for design‑in, development and utilization at key customers.
• Represent JAE at industry trade shows and association meetings as directed by management.
