Jim Norton Toyota of OKC is seeking a detail-oriented Automobile Inventory/title Clerk to join our accounting team. This role maintains vehicle inventory records, processes vehicle purchases and sales including title work, and ensures all inventory transactions are recorded accurately and timely.

The ideal candidate is organized, enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment, and takes pride in accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive dealership accounting preferred.
• CDK Drive experience highly preferred.
• Strong Excel and computer skills.
• Experience with general ledger posting and reconciliations.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; accounting coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock in new and used vehicle inventory.
• Verify vehicle invoices, MSOs, titles, and purchase documents.
• Process dealer trades and vehicle transfers.
• Reconcile vehicle inventory schedules and investigate discrepancies; post purchases, sales, and adjustments.
• Process factory invoices and incentives.
• Maintain floorplan records and assist with reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Title to ensure complete deal documentation.
• Assist with month-end inventory reconciliations.
• Review aging inventory and report exceptions.
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical inventory files.
• Prepare reports as requested by management.
• Perform additional accounting duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• The physical requirements of the position are LIGHT to MEDIUM in intensity.
• Must be able to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable necessary to drive vehicles safely.
• Constant – Reaching, sitting, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing.
• Frequent – Repetitive motion.
• Occasional – Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 lbs.

Physical Working Conditions

• This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards as electrical, mechanical, and cleaning equipment, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with operating an auto dealership.
