Jim Norton Toyota of OKC is seeking a detail-oriented Automobile Inventory/Title Clerk to join our accounting team. You will maintain vehicle inventory records, process purchases and sales including titles, and ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive dealership accounting preferred.
• CDK Drive experience highly preferred.
• Strong Excel and computer skills.
• Experience with general ledger posting and reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• High school diploma or equivalent; accounting coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock in new and used vehicle inventory and verify records.
• Process vehicle purchases, sales, titles, and documentation.
• Coordinate dealer trades and transfers.
• Reconcile inventory schedules and investigate discrepancies.
• Post factory invoices and incentives; maintain floorplan records.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance and Title for complete deal docs.
• Assist with month-end inventory reconciliations.
• Review aging inventory and report exceptions.
• Maintain electronic and physical inventory files.
• Prepare reports as requested by management.
• Perform additional accounting duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Stock in new and used vehicle inventory
• Verify vehicle invoices, MSOs, titles, and purchase documentation
• Process dealer trades and vehicle transfers
• Reconcile vehicle inventory schedules and investigate discrepanciesPost vehicle purchases, sales, and inventory adjustments
• Process factory invoices and incentives
• Maintain floorplan records and assist with floorplan reconciliations
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Title departments to ensure complete deal documentation
• Assist with month-end inventory reconciliations

Physical Requirements

• The physical requirements of the position are LIGHT to MEDIUM in intensity.
• Must be able to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable necessary to drive vehicles safely.

• Frequent – Repetitive motion.
• Occasional – Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 lbs.

Physical Working Conditions

• This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards as electrical, mechanical, and cleaning equipment, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with operating an auto dealership.
