Job summary

One Shot Automation LLC is seeking a driven Automations Engineer/Project Engineer to join our team. This role designs, implements, and optimizes automated systems for industrial and commercial applications, taking projects from concept to completion.

You will work on cutting-edge automation projects in a fast-paced environment, manage PLC/HMI/SCADA configurations, and collaborate with clients to define scope, timelines, and deliverables. Travel to job sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Hands-on PLC programming experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar.
• Proficiency in HMI/SCADA development and industrial control systems.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automated systems and control solutions for industrial and commercial applications.
• Manage engineering projects from planning through installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other automation components.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Troubleshoot automation system issues, minimize downtime, and optimize performance.
• Develop technical documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and project specifications.
• Conduct site visits, system startups, and on-site commissioning as needed.

• Manage engineering projects from initial planning and design through installation, commissioning, and closeout


• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other automation components

• Troubleshoot and resolve automation system issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance

Requirements:

• Willingness to travel to job sites as required
