Job summary

Invenergy, LLC in Chicago, IL seeks a Business Applications Analyst III to administer, maintain, and optimize workflow and automation platforms. You will gather business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and provide Tier 2/3 support to ensure seamless operations.

You will collaborate with IT and business teams, document processes, and lead small to mid-size projects while staying current with industry trends to boost efficiency and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, operations management, or related field.
• 4+ years experience as a Business Application Analyst or similar role.
• 4+ years experience in a hands-on technical role supporting and implementing workflow and automation platforms such as Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Forms, Pipefy, or other comparable workflow tools.
• 4+ years experience providing Tier 2/3 hands-on application technical support.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to own a technical issue until resolution.
• Strong documentation skills including knowledge base articles, diagrams, and guides for staff and end-users.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders and vendors.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Applications & Processes: evaluate existing applications and business processes to identify inefficiencies.
• Develop business requirements and translate to technical requirements.
• Manage change including risk evaluation, testing, and communication with users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to implement enhancements.
• Create detailed documentation: process maps, flowcharts, user guides, and technical guides.
• Coordinate implementation of new technology solutions and changes.
• Stay current with industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Establish KPIs to measure application performance and derive insights.
• Lead small to medium technology projects as project lead.
• Engage stakeholders through user group meetings and incorporate feedback.
