Business Applications Analyst II – Communication & Web Platforms

Position Overview
The Business Applications Analyst II – Communication & Web Platforms will administer, maintain, and provide technical support for assigned applications and processes. You will analyze and optimize operational processes, develop business requirements, implement technical solutions, and ensure application security to enhance overall productivity and drive organizational improvement.
Responsibilities
- Analyze Applications & Processes: Conduct thorough evaluations of existing applications and business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Business Requirements: Work with key stakeholders to develop business requirements and translate those into technical requirements.
- Change Management: Ensure the change management process is followed, including risk evaluation, appropriate testing, and effective communication with business users.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including IT and business departments, to understand requirements and identify opportunities for process enhancements.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation for applications including process maps, flowcharts, diagrams, user guides, and technical guides.
- Implementation: Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of new technology solutions and changes to existing services, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
- Industry Trends: Keep up‑to‑date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation, increase efficiencies, and enable business growth.
- Performance Measurement: Establish performance benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess application effectiveness and identify actionable insights.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly engage with business stakeholders for assigned applications, leading user group meetings and incorporating user feedback for future improvements.
- Technical Management: Provide advanced technical support and subject‑matter expertise for assigned applications.
- Testing: Develop, document, and maintain user acceptance test scripts; perform user acceptance and other functional tests; assist in tracking and coordinating user acceptance testing.
- Training and Documentation: Create training materials, user guides, SOPs, knowledge bases, and process documentation to standardize workflow practices and support knowledge sharing.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, operations management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Application Analyst or similar role.
- 2+ years of experience supporting and implementing communication and web platforms such as ContentStack, WPEngine, GitHub, Vercel, WordPress, Social Media platforms, or other comparable web technologies.
- 2+ years of experience providing Tier 2/3 hands‑on application technical support.
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to own a technical issue until resolution.
- Strong documentation skills, including experience creating knowledge base articles, diagrams, and guides for technical staff and end‑users.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and vendors.
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience developing business requirements and translating those into technical requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data‑driven recommendations.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools and methodologies such as Visio.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience managing small to medium‑sized technology projects.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, SDLC, and ITIL 4.
Base Pay
$75,000.00 – $103,000.00 USD Annual.
Bonus: up to 15% of base salary, subject to company performance and eligibility.
