Job summary

LEGO Group manufactures at LEGO Manufacturing Virginia, where an Automated Warehouse Technician III maintains highly automated systems to ensure optimal uptime and safe operations. You will diagnose, repair, and tune complex equipment, working with operations and external vendors to minimize downtime and improve reliability.

The role requires hands-on experience with automated warehouse gear, a technical degree or equivalent, and the ability to travel for training and business needs.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Electromechanics or related field, or 5+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Hands-on maintenance of automated warehouse equipment and systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Experience troubleshooting failures and identifying root causes.
• Ability to work at heights and obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Familiarity with LOTO procedures and safe maintenance practices.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic computer use.
• Fluent English communication skills and color discernment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on automated warehouse equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation issues.
• Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and reliability.
• Analyze root causes of equipment failures and implement fixes.
• Coordinate with operations to minimize downtime and downtime trends.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve critical equipment problems.
• Monitor performance and report downtime and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct vibration analysis and thermography as part of PM program.
• Support equipment upgrades and Lean/Kaizen initiatives.
• Maintain safety, environmental, quality, and LOTO compliance.
