Job summary

Delphi-US is seeking a Vulnerability Remediation & Automation Support professional in Chicago, IL for a contract role offering hourly pay. The role focuses on optimizing desktop deployments, patching, and automation within enterprise environments, leveraging VMware AppStacks and Horizon to enhance performance and security.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting across desktop and mobile platforms, maintaining OS base builds, and designing automation workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or at least 4 years of equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 5 years supporting Windows desktop OS environments (Windows 10/11).
Minimum of 3 years deploying applications across enterprise desktops using modern tools.
3+ years scripting experience in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or VBScript.

Responsibilities

Deploy and patch applications within end-user environments using VMware AppStacks.
Troubleshoot application installation, performance, and runtime issues across desktop and mobile platforms.
Maintain and update OS base builds, including feature updates, software patches, and vulnerability remediation.
Design and implement automation solutions to streamline end-user engineering workflows.
Develop, debug, and deploy software supporting end-user engineering objectives.
Resolve systems integration, compatibility, and multi-platform challenges.
Participate in on-call support rotations and document changes, policies, and architecture diagrams.
Identify opportunities to improve the end-user experience through data-driven process enhancements.
