MKS Instruments seeks a Software Test Engineer for Power Solutions in Rochester, NY. You will develop automated tests and production systems, collaborating with engineering, IT, and operations to strengthen our test capability.

You will analyze schematics, design adapters, and create mechanical drawings while programming in .NET or LabVIEW. Travel is limited to ~5% and you’ll report to the Operations Software Team Lead.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to analyze electrical schematics.
• Ability to create electrical schematics for simple adapters.
• Ability to create mechanical drawings for cables and simple systems.
• Ability to program clean OO code in a .NET-based language or LabVIEW.
• Ability to collaborate with an international team.

Responsabilidades

• Develop software for new/existing applications, utilities, and backend systems.
• Design new test systems using a systems-based approach.
• Coordinate with test and design engineers on test system requirements.
• Analyze schematics to ensure test systems stress key parts of products.
• Create engineering documentation for internal and external use.
