Blue Origin is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to lead automated testing efforts. The role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing automated testing frameworks using Python, with collaboration across developers and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

The candidate will maintain test scripts, analyze results, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, including occasional second-shift testing events and up to 15% travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in spacecraft/test automation or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in test automation using Python.
• Understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
