Responsibilities:

1. Develop functional and system-level test automation in a multi-tiered environment using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JMeter, Rest Assured, and other approved industry tools.
2. Use programming languages like C#, Python, or Java with IDEs like Visual Studio or IntelliJ, and source control tools such as TFS/Azure DevOps, GIT.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Participate in requirements gathering and translate functional and technical requirements into test cases and scripts.
• Perform various testing types including functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts with approved tools.
• Evaluate software performance and test methodologies, recommending improvements.
• Manage defects and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting findings clearly and concisely to clients and teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor team members and manage complex issues effectively.
• Proficiency with various computer systems and technologies, with quick learning ability.
• Awareness of current industry issues and technologies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Additional responsibilities include planning testing efforts, mentoring colleagues, and engaging stakeholders for feedback.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in test automation design and development.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with source control like Git.
• Proficiency in Java, JUnit, TestNG, Jenkins/GitLab CI pipelines.
• API testing experience with Rest Assured, Karate, Postman.
• Experience with Cypress or similar JavaScript testing frameworks.
• Selenium WebDriver automation (Java).
• BDD testing with Gherkin.
• Database testing and mobile testing frameworks like Appium.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and complex query creation.
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, etc.
