Job Title: Automation Test Engineer

Location:

Orlando, FL (100% Remote, with potential requirement to come in on short notice)

Must-Haves:

• Active Secret Clearance
• 10+ years of experience in automation testing within DoD programs
• 5+ years of experience in Test Automation
• Experience with AWS GovCloud, Eggplant, SonarQube, or Cucumber
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, scripting, and DevOps tools
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber, AWS GovCloud, Eggplant, and SonarQube
• Security+ CE certification
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute automation test strategies across Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
2. Create automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks such as Cucumber
3. Implement and maintain continuous testing solutions within DevOps pipelines
4. Collaborate with DevOps, software engineers, and cross-functional teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
5. Analyze application architectures, backend processes, and databases to develop efficient test automation
6. Enhance and optimize automated testing strategies for scalability and reusability
7. Research and adopt new tools and frameworks like Eggplant and SonarQube to improve testing efficiency
8. Work within AWS GovCloud-based CI/CD environments to streamline automation testing
9. Ensure compliance with DoD regulations, including data governance, security standards, and Section 508
