Job summary

The Aagard Group LLC in Minnesota is seeking an Automation Technician for day or night shift on-site. You will own the build process, assemble components per specs, log issues, and ensure quality of purpose-built equipment.

Applicants should read blueprints and CAD drawings, use measuring instruments, and contribute to a collaborative team. Travel up to 30% and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent assembly experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment beneficial.
• Ability to read and use measuring instruments and small hand tools.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and blueprint reading.
• Ability to read CAD drawings and operate CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components per specifications.
• Log issues and follow corrective action workflows.
• Maintain tools and a tidy, safe workspace.
• Demonstrate independence, adaptability and problem-solving.
• Verify build quality against prints and standards; conduct machine testing and troubleshooting.
• Travel for machine installation, startup and customer training (up to 30%).
