Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. seeks an Automation Technician for its Manufacturing Automation team in Costa Mesa, CA. You will deploy and wire automated tooling, configure Atlas Copco Power Focus and MicroTorque systems, and ensure precise assembly with data-driven insights.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting tightening processes, training operators, and maintaining calibration records to maximize uptime. 2–5+ years in relevant manufacturing and United States work authorization are required.

Qualifications

2–5+ years in aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics manufacturing.
Hands-on experience configuring Atlas Copco Power Focus controllers and MicroTorque systems.
Proven experience setting up workstations and deploying hardware on the line.
Strong troubleshooting to analyze tightening traces and failure modes.
Authorized to work in the United States; able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

Physically deploy, mount, wire, and integrate automation equipment across production lines.
Program and configure Atlas Copco Power Focus and MicroTorque systems to exact specs.
Diagnose floor issues, troubleshoot tightening failures, and optimize tightening programs.
Analyze tightening curves to diagnose torque vs. angle anomalies and joint relaxation.
Train manufacturing technicians on proper handling and safety of smart tools.
Maintain tooling health and calibration records to minimize downtime.
