Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Manufacturing, Robotics, Mechanical, or Electrical).
• A certificate from a Vocational/Technical School is also acceptable.
• 1–2 years of robotic equipment or automated production systems in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Initial set up of new automation equipment, including programmable controllers, robot controllers, end of arm tools, automated placement machines, and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment to avoid or minimize production downtime.
• Perform preventative maintenance on robotic equipment and automated production systems.
• Maintain spare parts inventory to enable quick-turn repair of any automation equipment to avoid down time.
• Program automated equipment to perform desired tasks.
• Maintain accurate service records of all automation equipment.
