Job summary

FoxconnGroup is seeking an Engineering professional to design manufacturing robotics and implement automation processes for customer products. You will build, configure, test and deploy robots, analyze performance and develop control software.

Responsibilities include collaborating with IE to realize a fully automated line, planning data acquisition, sourcing equipment, and creating SOPs while training others. Strong PLC, mechanical, and vision system knowledge required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2 years of directly related robotics or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Master degree in Robotics or Mechanical Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designing manufacturing robotics and automation processes for customer products.
• Build, configure, test and implement robots or automation equipment.
• Program robotics and analyze, troubleshoot, repair and develop equipment.
• Design software systems to control robotics and automation.
• Collaborate with IE to implement automation for a fully automated line.
• Plan data acquisition architecture for automation equipment and fast switching.
• Work with vendors to source production equipment per designs.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for automated equipment and machines.
• Provide technical support for robotic systems and training to trainers and production staff.
• Collaborate across engineering and other teams to reduce cycle-time and costs.
