Fox Factory, Inc. is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support 24/7 production operations with PLC/HMI, SCADA, and motion-control expertise. You will implement automation solutions, improve processes, and work closely with engineering and maintenance teams on manufacturing methods.

The role requires strong electrical knowledge and hands-on programming experience, with a focus on safety, compliance, and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associates or Technical degree preferred with automation focus.
• 6+ years in a manufacturing environment developing and implementing automation processes.
• Strong electrical knowledge and hands-on PLC/HMI experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide automation and process control support for 24/7 production plants.
• Identify process improvement projects and design SCADA/PLC solutions.
• Capable of electrical work including wiring and installations.
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop and optimize manufacturing methods.
• Coordinate with management on automation capabilities and status.
• Assist in collecting and summarizing data for product/process reports.
• Support Maintenance to troubleshoot production issues.
• Modify PLC programs to maintain production efficiency and quality.
• Improve PLC programs to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure software backups and data integrity.
• Adhere to government regulations and safety requirements.
