Job summary

Applied Controls, a SunSource company, is seeking a field-oriented automation specialist to build and wire industrial systems, primarily robotics and vision. The role requires on-site installations and multi-day travel as needed, with emphasis on meeting customer requirements for Factory Acceptance Testing.

The candidate will develop mechanical and electrical capabilities to deliver system solutions, wire according to designs, and maintain knowledge of the ACI hardware portfolio while

Qualifications

• Three years of industry experience.
• Ability to read and modify electrical schematics.
• Intermediate 3D CAD for system and component level design.
• Basic programming of industrial hardware.

Responsibilities

• Construct and wire automation solutions based on system design.
• Read and modify electrical schematics.
• Perform on-site installations and coordinate with customers.
• Provide Factory Acceptance Testing as per project scope.
• Learn on the job and adapt to requirements.
• Communicate with customers to manage expectations.
