Job summary

Invio Automation is seeking a Controls Technician to build and validate industrial control systems, applying electrical and pneumatic theories to wiring diagrams and schematics. Role includes assembling panels, wiring harnesses, and assisting on customer sites with occasional travel across the continental US.

The ideal candidate will read complex drawings, troubleshoot installations, and collaborate with teams to deliver reliable automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Professional, proactive, and positive attitude when working with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Proficient with hand/power tools and basic machining knowledge.
• Good verbal and written communication; ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacture, build and validation of systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, servos, VFDs, relays, networks, touchscreens, and robotic integration.
• Wire and assemble control panels, plates, and wire/tube harnesses per drawings.
• Interpret 2D drawings and electrical/pneumatic diagrams; familiarity with electrical wiring diagrams.
• Assemble tools and machines using pneumatic and electrical components; assist with light mechanical tasks as needed.
• Provide onsite or customer-site support as required, including travel within North America.
