Job summary

Applied Controls is seeking a technically skilled individual to support the Solutions Department in constructing automated systems focused on robotics and industrial vision. The role includes on-site installation support, customer communications, and Factory Acceptance Testing of installed systems.

The position requires mechanical and electrical capabilities, reading schematics, 3D CAD work, and basic programming. Occasional multi-day travel and teamwork are expected to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Three years of industry experience in automation or related field.

Responsibilities

• Construct and wire Applied Controls solutions per system design.
• Read and modify electrical schematics.
• Create 3D CAD designs for system components.
• Perform basic programming of industrial hardware.
• Manage on-site installations and customer communications.
• Deliver full Factory Acceptance Testing as outlined in project scope.
• Learn on the job and adapt to project requirements.
• Coordinate with management to fulfill requests in a timely manner.
