Job summary

RESRG is seeking an Automation Technician for our Portageville, MO facility to provide electrical control support for the plant and maintain safe, efficient operations.

You will inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, troubleshoot PLCs and relay logic controls, and perform preventive maintenance. A 2–5 year background with apprenticeship or formal training is preferred; overtime and various shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot PLCs and industrial electronics.
• Repair high-speed equipment and 3-phase motor controls.
• 2–5 years of field experience recommended.
• Apprenticeship or formal training preferred.
• Must have high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to safety standards.
• Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and relay logic controls.
• Terminate wires to breakers and transformers.
• Diagnose malfunctions using test equipment.
• Install conduit and pull wires.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist in tasks.
• Work on multiple heights; willing to overtime and all shifts.
• Understand AC circuits (110-240-460).
