Agropur is seeking an Automation Technician I in Wisconsin to monitor and troubleshoot computer-controlled instrumentation. This role uses PLC programs, HMIs, and electrical circuits, performing preventive maintenance, calibrations, and documentation for scheduled work.

The position requires reading electrical schematics, wiring panels, and supporting production teams to resolve issues. Night shifts with on-call rotation and a strong benefits package are included.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s or Technical Degree in Electrical Technology or related field required.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience considered.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics recommended.
• Wiring electrical control panels and installing equipment is expected.
• Experience planning, testing, installing and maintaining equipment and systems.

Aufgaben

• Monitor automated systems using a computer and PLC programs.
• Troubleshoot automation systems and HMIs, adjust as needed.
• Perform checks and calibration of plant floor equipment.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance and complete related documentation.
• Install new electrical circuits and maintain controls systems.
• Provide technical assistance to operators and managers.
