Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is hiring an Automation Technician I to monitor the plant's automated systems, troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration across production lines.

The role requires electrical knowledge, the ability to read schematics, and experience with control panels; candidates should prioritize safety and quality in a collaborative, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Technical Degree in Electrical Technology required or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience; ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience wiring control panels, actuators, inputs/outputs; plumbing, pneumatic or hydraulic lines helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor automated systems using a computer and PLCs.
• Troubleshoot automation systems and HMIs; calibrate and adjust equipment as needed.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document work orders.
