Job summary

Agropur, inc. in Little Chute, WI is seeking an Automation Technician I to troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and computer-controlled systems. The role requires an Associate's or Technical Degree in Electrical Technology and at least 1 year of related experience.

You will monitor automated systems, calibrate plant equipment, and support daily maintenance while following safety and QA policy. The position includes a starting rate of $36.56/hour with night shift premium and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Associate's or technical degree in Electrical Technology or related field.
• Minimum one year of related experience.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics including redlining.
• Experience wiring electrical control panels or equipment remote actuators and inputs/outputs; plumbing, pneumatic or hydraulic lines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Automated Systems using a computer.
• Troubleshoot the automation system with PLC programs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot HMI systems and adjust as needed.
• Perform checks and calibration of plant floor equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and document it.
• Complete work orders and daily preventive maintenance.
• Assist production personnel with troubleshooting production problems.
• Maintain and oversee daily automation activities in the plant.
• Make program changes to improve efficiency.
• Ensure safety policies and QA rules are followed.
