Job summary

Cretex Medical is seeking an Automation Technician in Minnesota to troubleshoot and maintain automated equipment and identify new automation opportunities. You will work with internal customers to keep automation systems running and lead project phases from design through implementation, while training staff on new technology and documenting processes. The role emphasizes safety, cost, and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in robotics, automation, controls, or related field, or relevant experience.
• 1 year working with automation systems integration.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks/projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be a self-starter, team player, positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot automation systems with internal customers.
• Enhance automation systems using electrical, mechanical, and controls skills.
• Lead automation projects from design to implementation to meet schedules.
• Train workforce on new technology and automation systems.
• Create and document new processes.
• Monitor performance and utilization of automation implementations.
