Chobani is seeking an Automation Technician to assess technical problems across our facility and implement vetted solutions in a timely manner. You will partner with internal and external resources to deliver reliable in-house support, while working closely with Automation Engineers on equipment repair and improvements.

You will troubleshoot electrical systems, diagnose root causes, and provide break/fix support for automation issues.

Qualificações

• Associates degree in controls/automation or related preferred.
• 3–5 years of electrical, PLC and instrumentation experience in an industrial facility.
• Knowledge of PLC systems troubleshooting and programming specifically Allen Bradley PLC.
• General knowledge of HMI systems: Rockwell FactoryTalk View ME/SE or Ignition by Inductive Automation.
• Broad knowledge of automation and electrical devices and equipment.
• Ability to use electrical diagrams, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams.
• Ability to train and transfer knowledge to others.
• Create and maintain relevant documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems.
• Identify root cause by observing mechanical systems and devices; use electrical testing instrumentation.
• Provide maintenance break/fix support for automation issues; collaborate with Automation Engineers.
• Serve as automation and controls domain expert on local project teams; deliver training as needed.
• Serve as a high-level technical support resource for complex automation and electrical issues.
• Redline all automation programs and documentation (PLC, HMI, drawings, P&IDs, etc.).
• Assist with plant/department projects and share best practices.
