Daifuku Intralogistics America seeks an Automation Commissioning Technician to support the commissioning, startup and optimization of ASRS systems, including cranes and shuttles, using PLCs, embedded controllers and safety devices.

You will work with the project team to deliver best-in-class solutions, travel up to 70% across North America, and participate in occasional Japan training with potential for leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley controls/controllers, Mitsubishi or Omron PLCs is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform final wiring terminations on cranes and shuttle equipment post installation.
• Perform hardware verification and I/O checks in the field.
• Perform initial startup and configuration of cranes, vertical lifts and shuttles per project requirements.
• Prepare test protocols and documentation prior to deployment in the field.
• Document “as-built” condition by capturing changes in engineering documentation.
• Travel up to 70% across North America; some international travel to Japan for training.
