Job summary

Greenheck Group is seeking an Automation Technician I/II/III to build, wire, assemble, and install electrical controls for machines and tooling systems at our Schofield, WI facility. You will program HMI/PLC software and develop electrical cabinets while ensuring safety standards.

The role emphasizes low to moderate complexity machine control, wiring, parts lists, and on-site collaboration with engineering and production teams. Minimal travel involved.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant work experience (Level I).
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience (Level II).
• 4-6 years of relevant work experience (Level III).

Responsibilities

• Write PLC-HMI program using various software packages.
• Create electrical schematics and electrical cabinet layout using AutoCAD Electrical, Build, and wire electrical panels.
• Design low complexity machine guarding strategies that comply with OSHA and ANSI standards to ensure safety.
• Wire external machine components to electrical cabinet.
• Develop electrical parts list for the project.
• Order parts for projects using Ariba Purchasing system, power up, troubleshoot, and commission machine to production readiness.
